What is the Employee Training Matrix?

  1. High Need, High Priority: Areas where employees need the most training and the training should be a priority. For example, customer service skills.
  2. High Need, Low Priority: Areas where employees need training, but the training should not be a priority. For example, time management skills.
  3. Low Need, High Priority: Areas where employees need some training, but the training should be a priority. For example, safety protocols.
  4. Low Need, Low Priority: Areas where employees need little to no training and the training should not be a priority. For example, computer skills.
