What is the Employee Skill Matrix?

  1. Highly Skilled: Employees who have mastered the skills required for their job, e.g. a software engineer who can write complex code.
  2. Competent: Employees who have a good understanding of the skills required for their job, e.g. a customer service representative who can handle difficult customer inquiries.
  3. Developing: Employees who have some understanding of the skills required for their job, but need more practice, e.g. a salesperson who needs more experience with closing deals.
  4. Unskilled: Employees who lack the skills required for their job, e.g. a receptionist who is unable to answer basic questions.
