What is the purpose of the Customer Contact Matrix?

The Customer Contact Matrix is a 2x2 matrix used to help businesses prioritize customer contact. It divides customers into four categories based on their potential value and the cost of contact. The four categories are: High Value/Low Cost, High Value/High Cost, Low Value/Low Cost, and Low Value/High Cost.

The High Value/Low Cost customers are the most important customers to contact, as they have the potential to bring in the most revenue with the least amount of effort. These customers should be contacted frequently and given the most attention. The High Value/High Cost customers should also be contacted, but with a more balanced approach. These customers may require more effort to contact, but they also have the potential to bring in significant revenue.

The Low Value/Low Cost customers should be contacted occasionally, as they may not bring in a lot of revenue, but they do not require a lot of effort. The Low Value/High Cost customers should be contacted sparingly, as they require a lot of effort for a small return.

The Customer Contact Matrix is a useful tool for businesses to prioritize customer contact and ensure that their efforts are focused on the customers that will bring in the most revenue.
