Digitalization Readiness Matrix

The Digitalization Readiness Matrix is a 2x2 matrix used to assess the readiness of a business to adopt digital technologies. It is divided into four quadrants, each representing a different level of digitalization readiness.

What is the Digitalization Readiness Matrix?

A visual explanation is shown in the image above. The Digitalization Readiness Matrix can be described as a matrix with the following quadrants:

  1. Highly Digitalized: Companies in this quadrant have already adopted digital technologies and are actively leveraging them to improve their operations (e.g. using AI to automate processes).
  2. Digitalizing: Companies in this quadrant are in the process of adopting digital technologies and are beginning to see the benefits (e.g. using cloud computing to store data).
  3. Ready to Digitalize: Companies in this quadrant are prepared to adopt digital technologies, but have yet to do so (e.g. using blockchain to secure transactions).
  4. Not Ready to Digitalize: Companies in this quadrant are not yet prepared to adopt digital technologies (e.g. using machine learning to analyze customer data).

What is the purpose of the Digitalization Readiness Matrix?

The Digitalization Readiness Matrix is a 2x2 matrix used to assess the readiness of a business to adopt digital technologies. It is divided into four quadrants, each representing a different level of digitalization readiness:
