What is the Service Capability-Value Matrix?

  1. High Capability/High Value: Services that are high in capability and high in value should be offered, as they provide the most value to the customer. Example: Online ordering system.

  3. Low Capability/High Value: Services that are low in capability and low in value should be discontinued, as they provide little to no value to the customer. Example: Manual order entry.
  4. Low Capability/Low Value: Services that are low in capability but high in value should be evaluated to see if they can be improved to provide more capability. Example: Automated order entry.
