  • Do you have the skills and resources necessary to achieve the goal? If not, can you obtain it?
  • How can the goal be achieved?
  • How can you measure progress?
  • How will you know when your objective is accomplished?
  • Is it affordable and realistic?
  • Is the amount of effort required on par with what the goal will achieve?


  • Is it aligned with the other objectives?
  • Why am I setting this goal now? Is it the right time?
  • Why is it significant?


  • When can we expect to see some short-term outcomes?
